Parisian Skincare Brand Harnesses Mushrooms To Address Skin Burnout

With a commitment to support the skin from the inside-out, Verdoie debuts with a topical and ingestible solution that leverages one of nature’s most sustainable ingredients.

A new Parisian skincare brand is leveraging the power of the shroom rooted in French pharmacy tradition.

Founded by Sonia Gaillis-Delepine, Verdoie brings a French perspective to mushrooms—one rooted in prevention over correction.

Proprietary Formulas

With a commitment to supporting the skin from the inside-out, Verdoie offers both topical and ingestible solutions that leverage one of nature’s most powerful and sustainable ingredients. The brand’s beta-glucan-rich proprietary formulas uses mushrooms that are cultivated and hand-harvested in a Parisian urban farm.

Mushrooms have been a part of Gaillis-Delepine’s family history since the 1860s when her great-great-great-grandfather, Pierre-Louis, cultivated the renowned “Champignon de Paris.” Inspired by this legacy and the transformative properties of fungi, Verdoie brings a unique fusion of tradition and modern dermatological innovation.

Addressing Imbalance with Two Debut SKUs

Environmental and internal stressors are among the leading causes of skin imbalance, resulting in dryness, irritation and compromised barrier function. Verdoie’s products harness the bioactive power of mushrooms—including beta-glucans, antioxidants and essential nutrients—to restore and fortify the skin, accelerating cellular regeneration while deeply hydrating and protecting the skin’s moisture barrier.

Verdoie debuts with two products designed to restore, nourish and protect skin:

La Crème Hydratante ($88) is a whipped moisturizer infused with chaga, tremella and shiitake mushrooms and a patented barrier-repair complex. It calms irritation, strengthens the skin’s lipid barrier and prevents transepidermal water loss over time, leaving skin soft, supple and plump. It’s also clinically proven to reduce redness, tightness and dryness.

Le Complément Alimentaire ($88) is a skin-barrier-boosting supplement featuring phytoceramides, antioxidants and tremella and reishi mushrooms. This clinically proven formula helps retain moisture at a cellular level, enhancing elasticity, reducing fine lines, and combatting oxidative stress for a naturally radiant complexion.
